From Istanbul
Our hotel on Istanbul’s European shore is as layered as the city itself. Once a 1929 tobacco warehouse and later a TV factory, it has evolved into an elegant sanctuary on the Bosphorus, honouring its past while embracing the future - seen in the L-shaped ballroom built to preserve an ancient sycamore.
A dramatic eight-metre chandelier of 35,000 hand-crafted crystals cascades through the lobby, while over 1,000 artworks bridge East and West. Outside, ferries cross continents every 30 minutes, offering guests a front-row seat to daily life. Two 300-year-old plane trees, sacred to Hera - the Goddess of Marriage - welcome couples, marking the start of their shared journey.

Art and fashion take centre stage, from Zhang Huan’s monumental The Rising at the entrance to rotating fashion exhibits showcasing vintage couture from Versace, Alexander McQueen and Yves Saint Laurent.
In the Lobby Lounge, a bespoke Italian Fazioli piano engraved with Joni Mitchell’s lyrics is played daily and above, an urban rooftop beehive buzzes with 50,000 bees reflecting the hotel’s commitment to sustainability.
